Open the windows and unlock the doors, there is a new prowler around. The Prowler MX manufactured by Wilderness
Trail Bikes (WTB) is sold as a XC race tire, and at 585 grams the weight freaks will even welcome this one into their home.
The tire has a feature called Siping. Sipes are small incisions on the tires tread. The siping gives each tread more edges and improves traction in both cornering and climbing in loose conditions.
I took this tire to it's limits in the desert downhills outside Boulder City NV. With dry loose climbs and corners that had gravel like ice, the Prowler MX held steady and true. It kept me and the bike vertical.
With it's excellent traction and stability this tire is good for the whole family. Whether your a weekend warrior or a hardcore racer the Prowler MX is sure to steal your heart.
