53 x 11's Espresso is a rich, dark roasted espresso strength coffee made specially for the clean cycling movement called Ride Clean. Aromatic, yet extremely clean it is a coffee which to my mind would appeal to a drinker of a popular over the counter doughnut coffee. Complex and very dark roasted, the coffee does NOT have the bitter finish often common to a very dark roasted blend. Rather, it has the nutty full-roasted dark flavor and none of the acids. The nose is complex but extremely subtle and again harkens to an American blend flavor over the aromatic European bouquet.



Readily drinkable black and particularly delightful with Southern Comfort on the rocks. It makes an excellent after dinner dessert coffee. I would not hesitate to use this in an espresso maker but it works just fine in a traditional drip brewer as well.

The dark rich brown color obscures the bottom of the cup but is clear and oil free. And remember, reuse recycle and repurpose, take your grounds and use them as compost and water your houseplants with any left over black coffee, they'll love you for it!
