AIDS Ride for Life
Saturday, September 12, 2009
The AIDS Ride for Life is a 50, 85 or 100-mile bicycle ride (not a race!) around Cayuga Lake. Together we raised $278,000 in 2008 to benefit AIDS services and education through the Southern Tier AIDS Program. For one day in September, in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State, you will buckle your helmet, put your feet to the pedals, and ride 100 miles closer to a world without AIDS. You'll be cheered, fed, and celebrated for a ride you'll never forget. This 11th Annual Ithaca tradition brings together hundreds of riders, volunteers, and sponsors. The Ride has raised over $1 million for local HIV/AIDS services in its ten-year history. Join us as a rider or volunteer for the experience of a lifetime!
