Tour de Cure

The Tour de Cure 2008

The American Diabetes Association needs your help. On June, 14, 2008 the Tour de Cure, our annual bicycling event which raises money for research for a cure for diabetes, will take place in Riverhead, Long Island in New York. Our community joins over 26,000 other cyclists and volunteers this spring who are participating at more than 80 sites across the United States.

"Go the distance and make a difference" by joining Tour de Cure and helping raise money for the fight against diabetes. Your cooperation will help the 713,000 people in New York who have diabetes, an often fatal disease that can lead to blindness, heart disease, stroke, kidney failure and amputations if left untreated.

Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. Below are the pertinent facts about the local Tour de Cure. For more information about ADA's Tour de Cure, please call the American Diabetes Association at 1-888-DIABETES (342-2383) or online at www.diabetes.org/tour.
