When Dan showed me these glasses they had the clear lenses in
them. They don't look as cool with the clear lenses as they do with the
dark. I initially thought "Hey how come Dan and Gary get to wear the cool
glasses." After swapping to the dark lenses however I was pleased with how
they looked. The important question however, is how do they look on me. My
wife's response was "they look great". My 5 year old daughter kept on saying
"you look very cool daddy". If the two most important females in my life
give them a thumbs up that's good enough for me.
As the ride progressed I realized as we stopped at a light that I had
forgotten that I had them on. I have owned and worn two other glasses and
neither one was as comfortable as these. There was one other thing I noticed
after Gary pointed out that his glasses would fog up briefly. These glasses
never did. Not once. Granted the weather was slightly chilly and I don't
know how they will fare when the weather gets colder but that in itself is a
great reason to own these glasses. The other glasses I owned would
frequently fog up. One pair would do it so often that I would never wear
them in cold weather.
I'm also pleased with the interchangeable lenses. Part of the reason I wear
glasses is to keep road debris and bugs out of my eyes. Bethpage park in
Suffolk County New York frequently has swarms of gnats at dusk. They
actually seem to hover at face level when I pass through them at 20 MPH.
Since it's getting dark at this time I usually have to take my glasses off to
see. Now I can just swap the dark lenses to the clear ones. These are a
great pair of glasses I highly recommend them.
