I recently purchased the Giro Torrent from nashbar.com as a replacement for a helmet that was giving me headaches. It was a great decision. The Torrent is one size fits all which I was leery about since I have a small head. With moderate alterations I was able to get the perfect fit. It is light weight and very comfortable. You put this helmet on and forget about it. The chin straps were soft and easily adjusted. My head stayed cool and comfortable during my ride. If I had to point out one minor negative I felt the straps didn't always lay as flat against my cheeks as I would have liked, but I can be really picky about minute details like this. Overall I would say this is a great helmet at a great value. |
