When I ride my bike in some of the parks and on the streets of Long Island I see a lot of people riding without a helmet. Are these people nuts? I really wonder sometimes. Maybe its because some helmets are uncomfortable. Maybe they don't fit correctly, or maybe they are too expensive.

Well this helmet is the solution.

It is comfortable. It has a great system to allow for a comfortable fit. And the price is right.

At only 298 grams its quite light. It looks good on my head. I DO NOT ride without it. I used to ride without a helmet when I was younger. I used to think they were unnesessary. Then one day I saw bicycle messenger being attended to by NYC EMS. He was on a stretcher and there was a wound on his forehead that looked like someone forced a golf ball under the skin. I bought a helmet the next day. Unfortunately it wasn't very comfortable. So I would wear it sporadically. On short rides to the store I wouldn't. On long rides I would. But I never liked wearing it. I started training for a charity ride so I figured I should get a better helmet. So I did. It was more comfortable, but it was a little heavy and I didnít like the way it looked on my head. Then a few months ago I saw this helmet on sale at Bike Nashbar. I couldn't beat the price so I bought it. It comes with a visor attached. Some of you may like visors but I don't so I took it off.

I've been riding with this helmet for about 3 months. I like the way it fits. I like the way it looks. It doesn't weigh a lot. So I wear it every time I ride.
