The Wind Pro™ tights provide many advantages for your cycling comfort. Claudia Reid, Shebeest designer, considered all of the needs of active women when designing these tights. They are made of 88% nylon and 12% spandex offering a well constructed, durable pair of cycling tights. The material is so light and comfortable that they seem to disappear once they are on. The tights don't have a chamois, but they are made to wear over bike shorts. I chose to wear them without bike shorts and they were still comfortable.
The Wind Pro™ tights are form fitting and move easily with the body. This, along with the fact that there is no chamois, makes for a very comfortable ride. It also means no saddle sores (after doing two Aids Rides and not being able to sit on the seat comfortably for three out of the four days during both of them, this is an advantage I seriously welcome). The seams on the legs are actually on the outside of the tights eliminating discomfort.
The tights have a rear inside pocket for small items. The ankles have reflective piping for visibility and gripper elastic so they don’t get caught in the chain. The Wind Pro™ tights are also very warm and the front panels provide excellent wind blocking while maintaining breathability. However, on the really cold days I would suggest wearing a thin layer underneath or a shell over the tights. Overall, the Wind Pro™ tights exceed others by far and are well worth the money.
