More than a basic multi-tool, the Marwi has a feature that I really love. A Bottle opener! Many Multi-tools omit this vital feature. Now as responsible cyclisits, we are supposed to bring our hydration products along with us, and that is fine, but in an extreme emergency, you may require a prepackaged beverage. Let's say you are deep into truing that wheel in the garage, and you really need some malt based beverage. Now you could stop everything and run inside for the opener, or you could ask a neighbor for an opener, but "gong" that special cyclist bell goes off in your head and you are thinking outside the box, "my Marwi" you dive into the seat bag of your favorite trail bike, and presto! The problem is solved! So it is with well designed multi-tools, You simply never run out of applications.
Bottom line, the Marwi multi tool is a decent product at an attractive price point!
The Marwi has made a couple of trips into the city and back with me at this point, and I have had the requisite number of flats along the way, I've had to adjust seat angles and heights, tighten this and loosen that, and thus far the tool has functioned as expected. I have a grand total of two reservations. The first is that the largest allen key size is a cap which fits onto the 8 mm size. Frankly I can see this going south eventually. Now it is a tremendous weight and space saver, but, knowing me, I will accidently leave it on the roadside someplace. My other reservation is the lack of a locking mechanism on the two tool halves which slide together. Both of these issues are really addressed by the inclusion of the handy carrying pouch, but in order to be fair, I feel I need to mention them. If you are detail oriented, neither of these issues will bother you.
