Cannondale Windshredder

A solid cold weather glove. As its name implies it cuts wind completely. No matter how fast you ride, the wind does not penetrate the exterior coating of these gloves. The inner insulation is very warm, warm enough to handle most cold weather conditions. I have ridden these gloves at temperatures down to 15 degrees fahrenheit. One note about the insulation is that it is light and fairly thin but it's a bit "fluffy" which means that the articulation of the fingers isn't very strong which detracts from the rider's dexterity. Also, a bit of the bike's road feel is isolated. On a mountain bike these gloves would be great but on a road bike with combined shift levers and brakes, it can be difficult to shift properly.

The palm is coated with a thin layer of a rubbery material that adds a solid grip to enable the rider to keep ahold of the handle bar. The tips of the index and middle fingers are also coated with this material which does help with the shifting issue mentioned earlier.

There is an extended cuff to these gloves which covers over the gap between glove and jacket sleeve. The cuff is pliable and comfortable and does its job of keeping cold air away from your skin quite well.

The design of these gloves is sleek and functional. There is piping on the backside of the glove which is reflective and nicely styled. Also there is a soft terry material on the back of the thumb for wiping sweat. The use of advanced materials lends to both the style, comfort and function of the Windshredders.
