Sugoi MidZero Blur Tight

The name “Blur” made me think I should have been going a whole lot faster along the Manhattan Greenway, but at least I was looking good. I like these tights. The reflective highlights were a nice addition - without being gaudy. Much to my satisfaction, the tights elicited a jealous reaction from a friend before I even put them on for the ride.

The ride wasn't a long one this Sunday morning, so padding wasn't necessary. With mostly sunny conditions in the high 60s as we made our way around the perimeter of Manhattan, they kept me warm (but not hot) and dry for several hours.

My only complaint was that they were too long for me. Size medium was slightly large in the waist and length for my build, but the drawstring waist feature is good in addition to the usual elastic. I also like the zippered ankle feature. These were fine for a leisurely ride, but most cyclists would want to consider padded shorts or underwear with these tights if they were going to be in the saddle for a longer or more demanding ride.
